AERO 50 Disc

The Aero 50 is a 50mm deep section rim. I’m sure you can see what we did there.

The Aero series is based on our highly successful Fast and Light series., which was a tubeless aero range of wheels constructed using Toray T700 carbon fiber. We designed these wheels to be light, stiff, and strong while being a wide blunt aero shape.

We wanted to keep those features and make the wheels lighter. Our engineers tried out various new layups and in the end designed a new layup using both T700 and T800 carbon fiber. The new layup allowed the wheels to be around 100g per wheelset lighter and still retain their stiffness and strength while still being the same aero shape.

We need an amazing new hubset to go with these wheels. Our engineers came up with the D01 hubset. A sealed bearing hubset that we have made available in both Centrelock and 6-bolt rotor pattern to allow you to fit the rotors of your choice.

To lace our new hubs to our new carbon fiber rim, we picked the best aero spokes available on the market. We choose Sapim CX-Ray spokes. These spokes offer titanium weight but not titanium flex. They lead the way in their combination of weight and stiffness.

To finish off the package we have equipped this wheelset with a two-year warranty to bring you peace of mind.

Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.
