DT AERO 50 Disc

Slicing through the wind is easy when you are riding our new Aero 50mm disc brakes wheels. These carbon fiber beauties are designed purely to make you faster and also to help you slow down. Our carbon fiber Aero wheels build on the success of our Fast and Light disc brake series.

The main difference for our new tubeless ready rims is that they are lighter. They have kept the same wide and blunt shape as our FL series but rather than being constructed from Toray T700 carbon fiber they are built from Toray T700 and T800.

The mix of carbon fiber cloths allowed us to keep our Aero rims super stiff while being lighter. We didn’t want to go lightweight and have your wheels flex sideways. Our engineers made sure that our wheels will stay straight and true.

To maximize the quality of our carbon fiber rims, we offer our Aero wheelset with your choice of DT Swiss wheels. We use DT Swiss as their hubs lead the way in quality. Their toolless servicing for their sealed bearings is something all home mechanics will greatly appreciate.

As well as their gift to servicing they also offer instantaneous drive with their Star Ratchet system. Your power will neither be wasted by our rims and DT Swiss’ hub. You can pick from either their 350SL hub or their 240EXP. The 350SL is their affordable option, and the 240EXP is their lighter weight model.

We didn’t just stop there and fit any old spokes. We picked the lightest and stiffest spokes we could find. Our Aero range comes with Sapim CX-Ray spokes as standard.
Then we finished the package off with our two-year warranty.
