DT AERO 35 Disc

Our new for Aero range is based on our highly successful Fast and Light range. Our Aero 35 though is an entirely new wheel. It still uses the Aero/Fast and light shape but brings it to you in a less deep rim. The ideal wheelset if you want to be smashing your way up Alpine climbs.

Like the rest of the tubeless ready rims in our Aero range, the 35 is constructed from a mix of Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber. The mixing of these fibers allows us to build you a super light but super stiff rim. Our Aero rims are all a modern blunt shape that helps to smooth the air around your wheels as you push onwards down or up the road.

We lace the Aero 35 rim using Sapim CX-Ray spokes. Many brands will cut corners when spoking their wheels. We decided that it is a full hardy idea and have fitted the lightest and stiffest spokes we could find. The aero CX-Ray spokes are the cumulation of over 100 years’ experience building spokes.

At the end of these spokes, you can have your choice of DT Swiss hubs. You can pick from either the 240EXP or the 350SL hubset. The 240EXP is the lighter weight option, and the 350SL is the more affordable option. Regardless of choice, you can be sure of getting DT Swiss’ quality and tool-free serving. Your power will also not be wasted thanks to DT Swiss’ instantaneous drive.
