Like all of our Aero wheel range, our Aero rim is based on our FL rim. Whereas our FL rim just uses Toray T700 carbon fiber our Aero rims add T800 to the layup. The addition of T800 helps us to lower the weight of the rim while also retaining the stiffness of our FL rim series. For an average saving of 100g per wheelset.
So now you can have an affordable tubeless ready wide aero shaped wheel rim, and best of all we have kept the wheelset pricing affordable. So start 2019 by becoming even faster on your bike and doing it for less money than you thought you would need to spend.
As we wanted to offer you our industry leading two-year guarantee, we went to work on our own brand hubs. We wanted to put them on a diet while keeping their precision quality super high. The front hub has managed to two spokes as well, 18 as opposed to 20, while still allowing us to build you a super stiff wheelset. Featuring sealed bearings throughout you can be sure you’ll be doing miles on the road and not in the garage fettling. We have built the ultimate lightweight, affordable hubset.
To go with our lighter rim and hubset, we felt that we should do something to help slow you down instead of just concentrating on speed. Our new Aero wheelsets now feature a brake track that is tolerant of temperatures up to 300 ° as opposed to the 240 ° that the FL series can tolerate.
To lace the wheelset together, we went with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. These spokes bring you titanium weight but steel strength — a happy combination that works well for our wheelsets.

Wide Rim Tech

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes
Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.

Sapim Secure Lock Nipples
Sapim Secure Lock nipple is a locking mechanism that prevents nipples from untightening.Secure Lock nipple can achieve a stable and well defi ned deformation on the thread. Each nipple has an additional locking resistance of 18 +/- 3 cNm
