AERO 35 Disc

Coming unstuck downhill has never been fun. Now with disc brakes, you can safely bring yourself to a halt down massive Alpine descents. So it was only natural we popped our disc brake hubs on a set of super light  AERO 35 carbon fiber rims.

The secret to getting disc brakes to work is a good contact patch. As our Toray T700 & T800 carbon fiber 35mm rims are wide and tubeless ready that should not be a problem. With an outer diameter of 29mm the rim will fit 25mm or 28mm tires perfectly, lower the pressure (you can get away with less pressure if you have jumped on the tubeless bandwagon) and now you will have some of the finest braking known to man.

As our AERO 35 rim is also aero shaped, you can be sure of a speed boost as you power through the flats to get to where the land goes a bit more vertical. Our Toray T700 & T800 carbon fiber layup has been engineered to be among the lightest available. You may though have an issue with your wallet still being heavy and weighing you down as our pricing is great.

To make sure that the weight stays down we have laced this carbon wheelset with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. These spokes are industry leading in weight and stiffness — the perfect match for our FL series wheels. To finish the wheelset off, we have fitted them on sealed bearing Novatec hubs.
